RED Design Ltd. (formerly Carpenter & Carpenter, Inc) specializes in residential plans for new homes, additions and remodels. RED Design Ltd. has over 18 years of experience in the residential design field. Stacy Carpenter, owner and building designer, has unique design and construction backgrounds that bring a better understanding to every home project.
Stacy earned a bachelor’s degree as a civil engineer at Villanova University in 1996. After graduation Stacy spent a year in Panama volunteering and working on various construction and design projects. After returning to Alaska, and to meet the needs of her young children, Stacy’s next career move was to work with the family residential framing business, doing everything from drafting, designing, and actual on-site framing of homes. With the guidance and direction of other professionals, she realized she would like to start her own residential design firm and in 2003 that dream came true.
RED Design Ltd.’s unique combination of education and experience has built a sound reputation for producing, in a timely manner, quality plans that meet each client’s individual needs. The business is based on family values and ideals that turn every designed house into a unique home.
